Hormone Therapy
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do you determine if I need hormone replacement?
If you’re noticing symptoms like low energy, weight changes, poor sleep, brain fog, low libido, mood changes, or difficulty building muscle, it may be worth checking your levels. We review your symptoms, health history, and analyze a comprehensive hormone panel to determine whether hormone support is right for you.
2. Is hormone replacement included in my DPC membership?
Hormone replacement is a separate service from your DPC membership. The initial hormone consultation is $300, and DPC members can apply their monthly membership fee toward this cost. This visit includes a comprehensive symptom review, specialty labs, and a personalized treatment plan.
If hormone therapy is recommended, the ongoing Hormone Membership is $215 per month, and DPC members receive a 20% discount. This monthly plan covers your follow-up visits, all monthly medications, and any additional lab work needed to monitor your progress.
3. Who should avoid hormone replacement?
Hormone replacement isn’t right for everyone. People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of hormone-sensitive cancers, uncontrolled blood clots, severe liver disease, or certain cardiovascular conditions may not be good candidates. During your consultation, we review your medical history, symptoms, and labs to determine whether hormone therapy is safe and appropriate for you.
